焼津らしいお菓子をコンセプトに作られたこちらのサブレは、漁港で使用される“トロ箱”をイメージしたケース入り！食べた後にも楽しめるようにと、店主の松村さんのアイデアで作られました。
ひとつひとつお店で焼き上げるサブレは、サクッとした食感で甘さ控えめでどこか懐かしい味わい。魚骨カルシウム入りで、幅広い年齢の方に喜ばれる一品です。
日持ちするので遠方の方へのお土産にも。

These sablés were created with the concept of a sweet that represents Yaizu, and comes in a case that resembles a "toro box" used at a fishing port! It was the idea of the owner, Mr Matsumura, to make it possible to be able to enjoy it even after eating it.
Each sablé is individually baked in the shop and has a crispy texture and a sweet, nostalgic taste. Containing calcium fish bones, they are a delight for people of all ages.
It lasts for a long time and can be used as a souvenir for people far away.

Bonito sablé x Kaeru no Ru-kun Original mini tote

焼津市とカエルをこよなく愛す、イラストレーター やまむらともよさんのマスコットキャラクター、カエルのる～くんとかつおサブレがコラボしたミニトート。お散歩やお買い物のときに連れ出したい可愛さです！

This mini tote is a collaboration between Bonito sablé and Kareu no Ru-kun, the mascot character of illustrator Tomoyo Yamamura, who loves Yaizu City and frogs. Cute enough to take out for a walk or when you go shopping!

明治43年に創業し、焼津らしさをコンセプトにお菓子作りを続ける老舗和洋菓子店の角屋。店内には自社で製造したたくさんの和菓子や洋菓子が並んでいます。

Kadoya is a long-established Japanese and Western confectionery shop that was founded in 1908 and continues to make confectionery based on the concept of Yaizu. The shop is lined with many Japanese and Western sweets manufactured in-house.

その中でも人気なのがかつおサブレと初代考案のみそまんじゅうです。

The most popular of these are bonito sablé and miso manju, the founder’s idea.

初代が考案したというみそまんじゅうは、焼津の港らしいごつごつとした荒々しい気質と船をイメージして作られました。醤油と味噌で味付けされた皮と、中のこし餡のあまじょっぱさのハーモニーがたまらないおいしさで、地元の方々に長く愛されています。消費期限が2日と非常に短く、通信販売はされていないため、焼津を訪れた際にはぜひ直接お店に足を運んで、できたてのおいしさを味わってみてください。

The miso manjuu, which was invented by the founder, was inspired by the rugged, rough temperament and ships typical of the port of Yaizu. The harmony between the outside, flavored with soy sauce and miso, and the sweetness of the sweet red bean paste inside is irresistibly delicious and has long been a favorite with the locals.
As the consumption period is very short - two days - and they are not sold by mail order, you should definitely visit the shop in person when you visit Yaizu to taste the freshly prepared delicacies.
